The Vienna Ice Dream or Wiener Eistraum is a winter outdoor ice skating arena located in he heart of Vienna - in the park in front of the Town Hall. The skating sessions are held to music. Ice skating is on from 10:00 to 22:00, and curling takes place from 17:00 to 22:00 on weekdays. The rink is illuminated at night and is complimented by a number of cafes and restaurants open next to it.
At the rental point by the rink it is possible to borrow skates in sizes 23 to 52 size (with deposit). There is also service point where skates can be sharpened and a luggage room. It is cheaper to pay for both skating time and rental online, at the rink's official website.
The rink is usually open from January to March.
