This is a photo-review of the Aphrodite's Rock and the Panagia church in Kouklia located 16 kilometers from Paphos. The Aphrodite's Rock (Petra tou Romiou) is one of the most important symbols of Cyprus. The legend says that the rock marks the place where the goddess came from the water.

There is an underground walkway to the beach from the parking. Visitors can swim, eat at one of the restaurants and buy some souvenirs next to the rock. The ruins of the Aphrodite's temple can be found nearby. The Panagia Katholiki church built in the 12th century is also located next to Kouklia.
