Pauls Stradins Museum for History of Medicine is located in the centre of the city.
There are 4 thematic exhibitions on four storeys of the museum:
- Ethnomedicine - an exposition about folk medicines, healing, quacks and shamans;
- the Middle Ages and classic revibration exhibitions with a medieval town, an apothecary and a hospital;
- 18th-20th centuries medicine - an exhibition dedicated to inventions in medicine;
- Latvian medicine and Space medicine.
