The Slagharen Theme Park & Resort and the Aqua Mexicana aquapark in Netherlands

The Slagharen Theme Park offers dozens of rides (swings, roller-coasters, slides, etc.) for children of all ages and adults. There are six theme zones to choose from: American Indian, Jules Verne Adventureland, Mexican, New Orleans, Wild West, Yellowstone. The park offers family entertainment as well, such as the American Circus Show, the Meet & Greet with Randy & Rosie, Family nights, the Dream Horses show, and the Randy & Rosie parade. Slagharen has a number of restaurants, offering family meals virtually to any taste, there is also a large number of takeaway kiosks serving snacks, ice creams and sandwiches. There are also numerous shops selling souvenirs. Slagharen offers birthday packages for family celebrations.

Pets are welcome at Themepark & Resort Slagharen, but conditions apply (please check the official website for details). The Slagharen Theme Park visitors can take advantage of paid parking, bike storage, and luggage lockers. 

Accommodation is available in various themed cottages or camping sites; there are such options as the Wigwam Deluxe, the Cowboy Cottage, the Buffalo Ranch House, etc. Most accommodation options are good at least for a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 children). The Sunny Beach is located next to Wigwam World. It includes a water playground, surrounded by a beach with real palm trees. A smaller paddling and splashing pool called the Randy’s Water Splash is located in the Kids Country.

The Aqua Mexicana waterpark opened in May 2015 and there is an extra admission fee for visiting it. It is not possible to visit the water park without having paid admission to the theme park (except for guests staying at the resort). Residents of Wigwam (deluxe) or the campsite can purchase waterpark admission tickets at special price.
