This is a photo-review of the Jurong Bird Park in Singapore, which was opened in 1971 as an oasis of calmness and unity with nature in the heart of the industrial district of the city. People say that the park was founded by the finance minister Goh Keng Swee. The park covers a territory of 20 hectares and is a home for more than 380 birds species. It is one of three best family adventures in Singapore (two others are a zoo and night safari).

One can travel around the park on foot or by the Panorail monorail. The train stops at the Main station, at the Lori parrots station and at the Waterfall station. There is also a Penguin's Shore aviary at the park.
