The Australian National Maritime Museum has one of the largest floating historical vessel collections in the world. Here visitors can climb aboard the renowned replica of Captain Cook’s HMB Endeavour, the former Navy boats and submarines, etc. Various exhibitions explore the sea in different ways. They are devoted to sport, adventure, commerce, immigration and history.
The museum offers many activities for kids and families, including Play Gallery for under 5s, Kids on Deck and other programs. Interactive workshops and tours take place regularly.
