The Elizabeth Bay House is a XIX century mansion built in a classic style. Today it is a museum: here visitors explore how rich families lived in the colonial period. Visitors can walk around the museum on their own or book a guided tour.
Here they can see a collection of butterflies, go down to the cellars, visit the elegant living rooms and servants' rooms, and also find the grotto, located next to the mansion.
There is the McElhon Nature Reserve opposite the museum, and the Beare Park is also nearby.
The museum offers tours and activities for families with kids during school holidays.
