This is a photo-review of Nara, a Japanese copy of the Chinese capital Chang'an. Nara had been the capital of Japan from 710 until 784. According to the legend the first mythical emperor of Japan descended from the sky exactly to Nara. There are a lot of temples and shrines included to the UNESCO World Heritage list in the city.

The Yakushi-ji temple, the Kasuga-taisha shrine and the Mount Wakakusa are the most famous among them.
