en: The Moomin Museum or Muumimuseo opened in Tampere in 2017. The museum’s first permanent exhibition retells the entire story of the legendary and touching Moomins. Visitors can enjoy three short movies about Tove Jansson, Tuulikki Pietilä and the Moomin characters themselves, spend time at the museum library and cafe. The Moomin Museum offers free guided tours in English every Saturday and Sunday.
