Allas Sea Pool is an outdoor pool complex with saunas, terrace and café, which opened in 2016 in the center of Helsinki, next to the Market Square.
The entire complex consists of a floating sea platform with three swimming pools: a big heated fresh water pool 25x15 meters, a heated children's fresh water pool 17x11 meters, and a swimming pool with purified sea water 25x12 meters that has the same temperature as the actual sea water. Water intake for the marine basin is produced far from the shore and the water is purified using UV-technology.
The two large swimming pools are open all year round, and the café is also open daily, at least from 10 am to 9 pm (open later in busy nights). Children under 2 years of age get into the complex for free, there are special prices for children up to 12 years, as well as multi-passes. Pool takes a deposit fee for the wristband, which is returned after visiting the complex. It is possible to rent swim suits and towels.
