Tbilisi sea is the informal name of the Jinvali water reservoir, which is located to the Northeast of the city.
The length of the "sea" is 9 km, and the width is 3 km. In the summer the reservoir becomes a holiday destination. It is located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level, so there is no extreme heat.
Resorts, cafes, and several beaches (including those is paid entrance) are located along the coast. It's possible to get to some of the attractions by bus.
