Konryudzan Senso-ji or Asakusadera is Tokyo’s oldest Buddhist temple, founded in 628. Its name translates as "Temple of the Young Grass on the Mountain of the Golden Dragon". Among the most notable spots are: the Gate of Thunder, the treasury with sutras from the XIV century, and five pagodas.
In the spring - the annual Racquet Fair or Hagoita ichi - is held at the temple.

These photos were taken on a family trip to Japan in 2017. The route passed through such cities of Japan as Kyoto, Tokyo, Himeji and the Miyajima Island.
