Puuhamaa Tervakoski, outdoors waterpark and playground for the whole family, Finland

The Puuhamaa outdoors theme park is not far from Janakkala and it is a family attraction. There are no extreme rides, but plenty of slides, swings, playground, boats, cars, trampolines, a traffic city and a waterpark.

The park is located on the way from Helsinki to Tampere, and from Lahti to Turku, and it is open only in the summer.

The waterpark is the largest outdoor waterpark in Finland with pools, slides, waterfalls and kids play zones, and saunas by the lake. There are plenty of cafes at Puuhamaa, as well as picnic areas. The symbol of the park is the Puuha bear, who comes out to play with visitors 5 times a day. Tickets can be purchased online or at the entrance to the park: for 1 or 2 days, as well as for the entire season.
