These photos of the Oodi Central Library in Helsinki were taken in February 2019, just a couple of months after the library opened doors to the public. The building has 3 floors: hall, pram parking, cafe, play zone, and movie theater on first floor; game rooms, 3D printing, chill out zones, crafting and meeting rooms on second floor; and about 100 000 books, a few trees, cafe, and play zone for kids on third floor.

The Moomin Museum in Tampere is a magical and fairytale place, and most importantly - it is an art museum. On two floors, covered with soft carpets and lit with dim lights, visitors can see the original illustrations and covers from the different editions of Tove Jansson's books. The exhibition follows the Moomin family from story to story, and it is possible to listen to excerpts from books in 5 languages (Finnish, Swedish, English, Japanese and Russian).

These photos of the Art Museum in the Sinebrychoff mansion in Helsinki were taken in the autumn of 2018. On the first floor of the mansion are temporary exhibitions and the souvenir shop, and on the second - visitors can see the furnished residential apartment of the family of famous brewers.

Photo-review of the Amos Rex museum, which opened in Helsinki at the end of summer 2018. The museum is an underground structure with unusual skylight tube-like windows going into the square above. In its permanent collection the gallery has the Sigurd Frosterus post-impressionist art on display in one room, and the rest of the museum's spaces are designed for visiting exhibitions, which are set to open 3 times per year.

We took these photos of the Museum of Kiasma Contemporary Art Museum in the center of Helsinki during summer 2018, the year the museum reopened after major makeover. The gallery has a cloakroom, a gift shop and a cafe. Prams can be parked right under the stairs. The temporary and permanent exhibitions of the museum draw attention to the work of Finnish and Baltic artists who illuminate life inside, near, and after the Soviet Union.

Ateneum is located in the very heart of Helsinki, right across from the main railway station. Children under the age of 18 get free entrance to the museum, all premises are stroller accessible, there is a cafe, and a gift shop with some products for kids. Various educational programs for families with children and organized school groups are regularly organized at Ateneum. Some of the paintings on display have kids-friendly versions exhibited alongside the original work of art. These small copies of paintings feature characters, who are familiar to children, and with the help of some text, they explain the meaning of the original paintings even to the youngest of audiences.
