Christmas celebrations in Tampere in 2016 include a number of events for the entire family. Please see the list below: 

- November 15 from 14:30 to 16:00 - Tampere Christmas Opening in the Tampere Central Square and Kuninkaankatu. Christmas Parade with jolly characters leaves from Hämeenkatu 1 at 14:00. Christmas Opening of Koskikeskus and Sokos and Stockmann Department Stores;

- November 21, 2016 to January 8, 2017 - the Christmas of Doghill in the Särkänniemi’s Adventure Park;

- November 22-23 - the Stable Yards- Christmas with arts, crafts for Christmas presents to shop for;

- December 2-22 - Tampere Christmas Market in the Tampere Central Square;

- November 10 - December 23 - the Christmas House of The Verkaranta Arts and Crafts Centre;

- November 16 - December 19 - the Christmas of The Children’s Cultural Centre Rulla;

- December 12-13 - Design Market in Tullikamari.
