On Saturday, May 27, 2017, any time from 10:00 to 17:00, kids and parents are invited to come learn how to tie sailor knots with the Children Maritime Festival (Lasten Meripäivien) and the Kotka Kids Cultural Center (Lastenkulttuuri) at Kids-Friendly Finland Festival. The festival takes place at Sirius Sport Resort for the third time and is organized as a quest, where every child gets a Road Map witha list of Play Zones at the start. Kids go from from start to finish completing fun tasks at each Play Zone. At the end of the journey, every child gets a prize (a bright silicon bracelet and a helium-filled balloon)at the Finish line. Participation is free for all.
It is possible to join the game at any time, the festival runs from 10:00 to 17:00. At least an hour is needed to visit all the Play Zones. The official festival languages are: English, Russian and Finnish.
Sirius is a kids-friendly sports complex, which has a wind tunnel, two Flowriders (indoor surfing), a rope park, and a mini-golf. The resort is located in an hour drive from Helsinki, for the convenience of guests there is a kids-friendly cafe (with buffet) and free parking.
