Parents are invited to learn about the municipality of Pyhtää and the building plots it offers, while kids will help to prepare some colorful pennants from fabric and paint for the Pyhtään Saaristomarkkinat event (archipelago market). This flag and ribbon-making workshop will be one of a dozen fun Play Zones for kids at the Kids Friendly World Festival, which takes place on May 28th 2016, at the Sirius Sport Resort. The festival is free for all and runs from 10:00 to 17:00 non-stop.
Kids can join the game at any time, but visiting all of the Play Zones takes at least one hour. All participating children get a guaranteed prize at the Finish line - a bright silicon bracelet and a helium-filled balloon. Official languages of the festival are: English, Finnish, Russian. The Sirius Sport complex offers wind-tunnel flying, rope park adventure and surfing on a FlowRider (additional charges apply). There is free parking for all, chill out zones and a kids-friendly cafe.
