The Forum Marinum museum in Turku tells the story of navigation and shipbuilding in Finland and the Åland Islands, as well as to the Naval Forces of Finland. There are indoor and outdoor exhibits.

The museum displays the technologies of ship building, the history of ship power plants production, the history of the Suomen Joutsen sailing ship from 1902 to 2009, the history of creation and the development of the maritime rescue service in Finland. Forum Marinum houses one of the largest collections of outboard motors in Finland. Forum Marinum holds restoration workshops, organizes regular excursions at the STX Europe shipyard in Raisio.

There is a souvenir shop, as well as a playroom for kids, and a cafe on the premises. The museum offers Do Touch activity points, designed for the whole family.
