Fiskars Village is a center of Finnish art and design, as well as park and a walking trail on a riverbank in the city of Raasepori. Fiskars Villas is located in Western Uusimaa region, in an hour drive from the center of Helsinki, and an hour and a half drive from Turku. The village offers numerous shops, cafes, enchanting walking trails, hotel and conference facilities, artisan workshops, as well as playgrounds for kids. The village is open all year round.
Fiskars ironworks was founded in 1649, and it was the beginning of the Fiskars Corporation. The village has seen many changes, from manufacturing iron to making scissors.

We visited Fiskars Village in the autumn of 2017 and prepared this photo review. The village is located in an hour drive from Helsinki. In the photo, it is possible to see the pedestrian walkways along the Fiskars river, numerous bridges over it, former manufactory buildings, shops, cafes and playgrounds for kids.
