February 3, 2018 at 11:00 guests are invited to a free family festival, held at the Fortress of Lappeenranta. In the program: ice sculptures performed by students of the art school of Lappeenranta, the Moomins show in the cultural and leisure center of Kehruuhuone (at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00), pony rides (from 11:00 to 16:00), a fire show at 16:20, and at 16:30 the ice sculptures will be illuminated.

In the museum of South Karelia at 12:00 and 14:00 guests can visit the puppet theater, the museum entrance fee is 5 €.

There are several museums (South Karelia Art Museum, cavalry Museum, merchant Volkov's House-Museum, Museum of South Karelia), souvenir shop where hand-made objects are sold and a cafe in the fortress.
