In 2017, the medieval knight tournament at Tavastgus Castle in Hämeenlinna (Hämeen Linnan Hevosturnajaiset 2017) will be held from April 30 to May 1. Guests of the tournament will see jesting on horseback and other performances from the Stables of Rohan historical club, as well as the opening of a new exhibition at Tavastgus Castle.

Both access to the tournament and entrance to the Häme Fortress (Tavastgus) are included in the ticket price.

The tournament can be considered as a spring prelude to the legendary Medieval Fair, which takes place in Tavastia on August 16-20, 2017.
