The annual Spring Warm-up Tank Show in Parola celebrates the beginning of a new summer season. The event usually takes place on May 1, and is intended for the entire family (dogs are welcome too). The local auto clubs and tank guild participate in the show along with the Tank Museum staff. In addition to exhibits from the museum's collection, it is possible to see some classic cars and various engines, as well as climb on top of some of the tanks, and inside some of the armored personnel carriers.

For children, there is a playground with swings and a sandbox. The museum's cafe invites visitors to enjoy a cup of tea/coffee and have a sandwich or a donut with berry filling. The museum's shop sells various tank-themed toys and souvenirs. Twice during the day, a few tank squads start their engines and drive around the woods and stage a firefight.

Each of the tanks, machines and guns in the museum's collection have detail text descriptions available in English, Russian, Finnish and Swedish.
