The Chamberi Ghost Station in Madrid, Spain

The closed Chamberi station of Madrid Metro functioned between 1919 and 1966. Today, the "ghost station" houses a museum. Visitors can see the interior of the station as it was at the first half of the 20th century: with painted advertising posters and a map, old benches and turnstiles.

Contemporary trains run past the Chambery station: the exposition is separated from the tracks by a glass wall.
