The Lope de Vega Museum is located in a house where the writer lived for many years. The building itself has been seriously reconstructed, but inside, visitors can find the interior of a 17th-century house with authentic furniture, books, paintings and personal belongings of Lope de Vega and his family. In addition, it is possible to see the small courtyard, where the writer used to work. The courtyard has an old original well and a little garden.
Admission to the museum is free. Groups are formed at the entrance, and approximately every half an hour excursions begin in Spanish and English.
Theatrical performances, as well as workshops for the families with kids regularly take place at the museum.
