The Mobilia automobile and road museum is located in Kangasala (about 20 km to the south-east from Tampere). The museum hosts changing exhibitions every year, a permanent collection of classic cars and the international Rally Hall of Fame. An outdoor exhibition displays life in a road builders’ barrack village dating from the 1950’s to the 1970’s.
During the summer season children can enjoy the Rahtarit Traffic Park (ages 4 to 12), a playground and a beach on the territory of the museum. There is also a museum shop with a large variety of souvenirs and toys. Mobilia Café offers beverages and snacks for the entire family, and also lunch during the summer season. Entrance to the museum is free for children under the age of 7, but all children must be accompanied by an adult (who needs to pay the entrance fee). The time spent in the Traffic Park is charged per 15 minutes.
Please check the current working hours and entrance fees on the official website of the museum.
