The Rovaniemi Local Heritage Museum is housed on a historic farm over a century old. Its collection showcases artifacts from rural life at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
The traditional livelihoods of local farmers included fishing, cattle rearing, hunting, and reindeer husbandry. The main building, dating back to the 1840s, remains in its original location and is furnished in a traditional rural style.
